Designed by Colin Chapman, the Seven was built in four series by Lotus before experiencing a large number of copies, of which only the Caterhams are official. [...] In 1967, Caterham becomes the only distributor of Seven (then in series 3), of which it assembles part of the production and of which it even ensures the development. Caterham still produces different versions of the Seven today, 60 years after its creation.
The Lotus Seven is known for its appearances in the television series The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan (see the credits in the description area).
